I was unsure of booking a stay at a Holiday Inn due to past experiences. However, our stay at this hotel was top notch. It is a very family friendly hotel. Location was excellent. It was close to shopping and dining as well as close to local attractions (Seabreeze: 15 minutes, Strong Museum of Play: 10 minutes). Rooms were clean and attractively decorated. They also had a small fridge, microwave and DVD player which were all very convenient to have. We warmed up food, stored drinks in the fridge and used the DVD player when the little one needed a break. Indoor pool was large and there was a business centre which had computers to use the internet. Added bonus was the hot breakfast every morning which was basic but delicious. Staff was nice and helpful. The only negative was that the noise in the halls was often loud early in the morning if you wanted to sleep in. Other than that I was very impressed and would stay here on our next trip to Rochester. I look forward to checking out other Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites in other cities.

I thought the room was beautiful, and I enjoyed the facilities. I was on a weekend getaway and wanted some time to just be alone. I wished the cleaning staff would not have knocked on the door and made the noise they were making at 9:13, since I was just waking up and wanted time "alone", that was the only irritation my whole trip. The room was clean and beautiful, the pool was wonderful, the front desk people where very nice. You do hear noises from the hall way, but it was overall a wonderful stay and I would very much recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family as a very nice place to stay.
